Bamboo becomes AirFi’s latest customer in the world’s fastest growing aviation market and gives the company a foothold in key Vietnam market.
- AirFi’s Portable Wireless IFE variant will deploy initially across fleet of eight permanent and wet-leased A319 and A320s.
- AirFi selected to provide full content acquisition and on-going ancillary revenue management services.

JUNE 17, 2019 – THE HAGUE, Netherlands AirFi, the leading provider of flexible Wireless IFE systems and cabin retail technology, announces Bamboo Airways as its latest customer in Asia Pacific.
Bamboo Airways, one of Southeast Asia’s newest low cost carriers based in Hanoi, Vietnam, recently started operations in January 2019. Bamboo have a clear strategy to build a 5-star airline operating both domestic and international routes and AirFi will sit at the heart of achieving this quality experience.
Bamboo will deploy AirFi initially across its fleet of eight A320-family aircraft and AirFi will provide its fully managed service offering covering all hardware, software, content provision and ancillary revenue generation.
Last year, the airline signed agreements to acquire 24 A321NEO and 20 Boeing 787-9 aircraft to support its fleet growth plans.
